In 2025, Cherished Cats supported the Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate and Return of nearly 400 cats in Union, Snyder and Northumberland counties.

That work prevents THOUSANDS of kittens from being born outside with a strong likelihood of suffering, and little chance at survival.

In 2025, we ALSO introduced a pet spay and neuter program, to help keep cats in their homes without the risk of unexpected litters of kittens.

Between these two programs, we spend more than $30,000 annually working to reduce the number of cats “at large” in our local communities, where they are unsafe, and often targeted by those who don’t want them around.
