GIBBY

Gibby has had a difficult road- last year she lost the only human she knew when her owner passed away. Thankfully the family put in the work to make sure her cats received the care and safety they deserve- contacting us for help, and putting in the time and effort to help get them to vet appointments. We so appreciate when the helping is collaborative!

When Gibby arrived, she was sad and shut down, and spent much of her time quietly hiding in corners. She was tense and clearly anxious, and while she would sometimes accept some pets she didn't seem to enjoy it much. After a couple months of the dedicated efforts of caretakers Gibby has seemingly turned into a brand new cat right before our eyes. She is a pro head bonker and an absolute love- with perhaps a little streak of sass when she doesn't want to share the human with another cat (but she also lovingly head bonks other cats. she's complicated. )

Gibby was recently at Susquehanna Trail Animal Hospital where she underwent a full dental and a fine need aspiration of a lump in her neck. She came through with flying colors and is rounding the bend on her recovery time.
